Born July 19, 1961, in New York City, New York, Campbell Whalen Scott is an American actor, director, producer, and voice artist. Scott's most notable roles include Longtime Companion, Dying Young, Roger Dodger, Royal Pains, Damages, The Amazing Spiderman, and The Amazing Spiderman 2. He directed award-winning film Big Night with fellow actor Stanley Tucci. Voice-wise, he has done the audiobooks for Stephen King's novels The Shining and Cell, as well as for commercials for Chevron and narrating the Iraq War documentary No End in Sight. Scott has been married twice to Anne Scott (divorced) and Kathleen McElfresh (current) and has one son, Malcolm.
Campbell Scott's last name, "Scott," is an English/Scottish name and refers to a person from Scotland. It comes from Kent, where a Scot family has lived since the 14th Century. Other spellings include "Scot." The first Scott of note to come to America was Apphia Scott in Virginia in 1618.
